Today we went to the Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. It was really neat and the kids had a lot of fun. Ethan just wanted to see the big sharks.

Moving In

So we have spent the last week or so moving into a house. It has been a little crazy, but I think we are officially settled in Las Vegas. The last box was unpacked and put away earlier today. Somehow over the past few years we have accumulated so much stuff. I didn't really think we had that much, but when you have to box it up, move it across the country, and move it into a house you realize how much stuff you have. And we have more toys than I know what to do with. When we moved in I just took all the toys upstairs to the extra bedroom and dumped them on the floor. That way the kids could just play and hopefully stay out of the way of all the moving. It didn't take long before the floor was covered.

We have a great little house in the southwest part of Las Vegas. It is the newer part of Las Vegas and this area is growing like crazy. We have a great backyard full of DIRT!!! The boys are so excited about all the dirt and I am glad because they can go out and dig and dig all the holes they want and I don't have to worry about them killing my flowers or bushes. For now it works great.

Shawn has the next week off so we are hoping to be able to relax (something we never got a chance to do when we got here because things were so crazy and we were homeless). I want to hang a few more things on the walls and get things a little better organized and then I will take some pictures of the new place. We love company so anytime you are down this way stop by. When my dad was helping us move in he decided that I have too much kitchen stuff, but I told him that if he came down and visited I would put it to good use and make him dinner. That goes for everyone!

So I finally did it! I am officially a Blogger.

I can't believe I am actually doing this, but I am officially a blogger. Shawn and I thought that since we moved again the best way to keep in touch with family and friends would be this. We seem to move a lot! We just got to Las Vegas a few weeks ago. We are still living in a vacation condo, but hoping to move into a house this weekend. It has taken me a while to adjust, but we are doing okay. It has been a rough few weeks. The house we initially were planning on buying ended up not working out. The neighborhood wasn't what we wanted, so we backed out and spent the next week looking for another home. But I think we have finally found a home. I have finally figured out which way is north, south, east, and west. For the first few days everything looked the same and I was so lost. Shawn is busy at the hospital working, working, and more working. He loves it, but comes home exhausted. Ethan and Cole love each other and hate each other all at the same time. They are cute and just getting bigger and naughtier. Liv is so sweet. This girl thing is great, but she is a little drama queen. Once we get settled I will post some pictures. Hopefully I can keep this up, but I am not making any promises.
