This is the only way the I can keep Livy off the stairs-I lock her in. At first the boys would just rip the gate down because they couldn't' get by, but they have figured out that they can climb over it. Which probably isn't safe, but it keeps Livy out. I gave her the bottom two stairs to climb on and practice. She just stands at the gate and shakes the bars like I have put her in prison.
